As a local artist inspired by the natural beauty of the Saanenland / Pays d’En Haut region, I have embarked on a project that captures the essence of our local cows in a way that has never been done before. Each portrait is a celebration of these magnificent creatures, meticulously photographed to bring out their unique personalities and charm.

To ensure that each piece is a true work of art, I print these portraits on Hahnemühle William Turner fine art paper, renowned for its unparalleled quality and texture. The result is a vivid, lifelike image that serves as a lasting tribute to these animals.

Each portrait is framed in 82cm x 62cm wood, lovingly crafted by the AlpenRuhe foundation in Saanen. This not only adds a rustic elegance to each piece but also supports a local foundation committed to sustainability and community development. The frames are constructed from local wood and fitted with anti-reflection glass, ensuring that each portrait can be admired in all its glory.

To maintain the exclusivity and collectible nature of these portraits, each one is limited to just 100 prints. Each print is individually numbered, making it a unique piece of art that you can truly call your own.

This project goes beyond photography; it’s a celebration of local beauty, craftsmanship, and community.
